Waterlicious, Inc. is a rapidly growing consumer beverage company with a highly reviewed, fruit-flavored water line serving the growing market for low-sugar, healthy kids' drinks. Waterlicious, Inc. launched the first and only vitamin- and fiber-enhanced water line, Waterlicious®, specifically formulated to provide the tastes kids love with the nutrition parents demand.
Motivation and vision
As parents of young children ourselves, we created Waterlicious® to provide a healthy, all-natural alternative to high-calorie kids' drinks in a market dominated by high-fructose corn syrup beverages. Having kids sensitive to artificial additives, we also formulated Waterlicious® without adding artificial preservatives, additives, and colors. It's made with only natural ingredients and is, in fact, kosher. To ensure that kids would actually drink our healthy new beverage, Waterlicious® flavors were carefully blended from a pallet of all-natural ingredients and refined using data from two national taste test studies. The result: a premium healthy vitamin- and fiber-enhanced flavored water product that kids actually prefer to other drinks and that parents would buy over other beverages currently on the market (see Research Results in Products).

While our first and foremost goal is providing healthy, flavorful beverages that both children and parents love, our Waterlicious Inc. shareholders (a minority-owned company) and company management share a strong sense of corporate ethics and community values in addition to a strong belief in our products. Thus, while we do seek sustainable growth and value for our shareholders, we also seek to maintain responsible and responsive partnerships with our associates, employees, customers, and the greater communities they serve. So that everybody may be able to buy Waterlicious®, we are currently seeking a variety of different partnership opportunities, from marketing to distribution, both domestically and internationally.
Product lines
Waterlicious, Inc. has developed and registered vitamin- and fiber-enhanced, fruit-flavored water for children under the U.S. Registered brand names of: Waterlicious®, Agualicious®, Exercise Water®, Complete Trimester®, Pediatric Water®, Infant Juice®, and Waterlicious Sport, in addition to other products under development. In the third quarter of 2007, Waterlicious® was launched with nine different flavors:


As part of our customer-driven product development, Waterlicious, Inc. recently added Raspberry and is currently selling Soccer Berry and Raspberry (available at store.waterlicious.com).
Production Capability and Protocols
Waterlicious Inc. formulates its ingredients only at FDA-approved laboratories. Product bottling occurs at two independent factories: one in Riverside, California for supplying West-Coast demand, and a second in Pennsylvania for supplying East-Coast demand. The most recent production run was at a factory with a production capacity of 6,500 cases or 156,000 bottles of Waterlicious® per day.


Company History
Waterlicious Inc. was incorporated as a consumer beverage company in the State of California, USA in 2005. Waterlicious launched the first vitamin- and fiber-enhanced water for children, based upon detailed research that indicated a void within the market for flavored water and other hydration products specifically created for this demographic. The following extensive research, development initiatives, and consultations with beverage industry insiders and market practitioners solidified the company's niche focus on children's vitamin water as a service offering. While developing and refining the product formula, the company simultaneously registered and acquired associated intellectual property rights, ranging from internet domain names to trademarks.

After completing initial research and product development, the management team decided to seek additional funds for extensive production and marketing efforts through a private placement offering in 2007 (details available upon request). The net proceeds from the private placement offering are being used for sales team development, expanding distribution channels, expanding production to satisfy current and projected demands, and working capital, among other uses.

Additional funding also allowed Waterlicious Inc. to conduct two national taste studies. Qualitative and quantitative research from national taste studies confirm that Waterlicious® is acclaimed by children and parents alike across multiple demographic spectrums. These studies further showed that parents and children are willing to pay premium prices for the Waterlicious® due to its superior taste and health profile, as compared with other popular products currently on the market. Waterlicious, Inc. is currently looking for hands-on individuals who are enthusiastic about helping us achieve our visions of brining our great-tasting healthy kids' water to every store, restaurant, and home in US. We are looking for proactive, creative multitaskers, like ourselves, who take the initiative to improve and grow the company. A start-up can be a challenging and demanding environment, but Waterlicious Inc. offers tremendous opportunities in the form of advancement, company equity, and various incentive-based compensation programs, in addition to industry-standard compensation packages.

Waterlicious, Inc. is currently seeking:

Beverage Industry Executives with extensive hands-on experience operating and managing beverage company logistics and finances, as well as experience negotiating and forming contracts with wholesalers, brokers, resellers, contractors, etc. Like most start-ups, Waterlicious Inc. is dynamic and challenging, suited only to the most adaptive and highly-skilled individuals. We therefore seek candidates who possess: considerable organizational skills, exemplary time-management abilities, proactive work ethics, experience managing and empowering employees, experience with corporate finances, an eye for detail, exemplary writing skills, and the ability to quickly learning a variety of new technologies on the job. Additional desired skills include experience with: basic accounting, calculating margins, making financial forecasts, writing contracts, making flashy yet informative business presentations, manipulating various graphics formats, and working with various interactive web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, SFTP). MBA and at least 5 years of executive-level beverage industry experience greatly preferred. Only serious candidates with the majority of the skills listed above will be considered.
